CB18 Fixed-Angle Beveling Machine Self-Propelled,
Quick and Quiet

The Steelmax CB18 fixed angle self propelled beveling machine will carry out weld preparation bevels on steel plate and pipe with material thickness from .23" (6 mm) up to 1.57" (40 mm) and a minimum pipe diameter of 5" (127 mm) in a very quick, quiet and efficient way, avoiding the production of flame, smoke and dust. The machine will travel at a speed of 10'' (3 m) per minute. Operation of the machine is very simple and requires minimal skill to operate. It is designed for heavy plate fabrication and is extremely rugged and durable.

The beveling angle can vary from 22.5°, 30°, 37.5° and 45° by simply replacing the roller group. The machine can be used in a stationary manner by hand feeding smaller parts or can be equipped with an optional height adjustable trolley for traveling the length of large plates.
